The Host

Building
in real time.

I'm Ty Sharpe — a commercial operator who spent over a decade inside Fortune 100 companies before betting on myself. Growthonomics is me, learning out loud from the operators and investors a few steps ahead — and bringing you along for every lesson.

From the inside
to the arena.

For more than twelve years, I built commercial strategy inside some of the biggest names in consumer goods — leading ecommerce, retail media, and strategic partnerships at companies like Nestlé and Newell Brands. I learned how scale actually works at the highest level: the systems, the P&L discipline, the deals that move real revenue.

Then I did the thing the people I admired all had in common. I stopped building someone else's empire and started building my own.

Today I'm an operator — running a commercial service business, building toward acquisitions, and chasing the same goal a lot of you are: turning real work into real, lasting wealth. I'm not on the other side of that mountain yet. I'm climbing it. And that's exactly why I started this show.

Most business advice comes from people who already made it. I wanted a show built in the climb — by someone still doing the work, learning from the people one move ahead.

Growthonomics is my front-row seat to that education, shared openly. Every conversation is with an operator or investor who's done what I'm working toward — scaled a service business, navigated a real exit, built wealth that compounds. I ask the questions I genuinely need answered. You get the answers too.

No gurus. No theater. Just honest conversations about the unglamorous, hard-won mechanics of building something that lasts.
